Australian Pythons generally have a lifespan of 15-20 years in captivity with proper care.

A Pythons size varies by species. For example, Carpet Pythons can grow up to 3 metres or more, while Children's Pythons are generally smaller, averaging around 0.9-1.2 metres.

Australian Pythons primarily eat rodents. Young pythons are typically fed smaller prey, while adults might need larger prey. It's important to provide food in appropriate sizes to avoid health issues.

Hatchlings and juveniles generally need to be fed every 5-7 days, while adults might be fed every 1-2 weeks. The frequency can vary depending on the snake's age, size, and metabolism.

Unlike some reptiles, Australian Pythons don't need UV lighting. However, providing a natural day-night cycle with ambient lighting can be beneficial.

Regular handling is important for socialising and taming, but it should be done carefully and respectfully. Start with short handling sessions and increase duration as the snake becomes more comfortable.

Common health issues include mites, respiratory infections and digestive problems. Regular health checks, maintaining clean conditions and proper husbandry practices can help prevent many issues.
